Oregon 2007
OREGON 2007
Well I finally got some time off and took a drive down to Oregon. Went via Bremerton, this is a Naval Town and I saw more ships than the whole of Africa's navy's put together, and spent the first night at Fort Stevens State park in Oregon. This was our first time staying in a US park and I was impressed. In Oregon parks they have these YURTS which are Year - round Universal Recreational Tents. They are heated and have electricity, like a tent but a permanent fixture. Water is just outside and the ablution facilities are shared. Very clean. We stayed in the YURTS for the first 3 nights, Fort Stevens, Cape Lookout and South Beach. At this time we made an about turn and headed back to Cannon Beach where we stayed in a motel. The next morning we returned home. Here are some pictures of our trip.
